Summer in Ibiza

Seguimos en operación "vuelta a la normalidad", mientras esto va pasando, yo intento organizar mis fotos del verano, tarea nada fácil. Que rollo lo de organizar fotos, todavía no he encontrado un buen sistema para hacerlo, por ahora se me acumulan en el Iphoto, eso si ya categorizadas por eventos. Algo es algo.

We are still trying to return to normality, meanwhile I am trying to put order in my summer pictures, and it is not very easy for me. I hate it. I didn't find a good system to do it in Iphoto, if you have a system please share...

Mucha gente me pregunta si Ibiza es "family friendly" yo siempre digo lo mismo; si y mucho. Ibiza tiene todo lo que quieras, playas espectaculares, restaurantes buenísimos, paseos maravillosos y por supuesto mucha marcha. Tu decides que quieres hacer. Como os podéis imaginar en nuestros planes, menos la noche loca Ibicenca, cabe todo. Nos gusta ir cada día a una playa, comer en restaurantes muy ricos, darnos paseos por la tarde y tenemos tiempo hasta de ir a la feria a saltar en las colchonetas.

A lot of people ask me if Ibiza is family friendly, and I always answer that it is. In Ibiza you have anything you want, of course night live but also a amazing beaches, nice restaurants, playgrounds and lovely places to visit. As you can imagine our plans included all except the night live. We love to go to the different beaches, eat in nice restaurants and we even have time to go to a fair to jump in the bouncing castles.

Por supuesto, mucho mejor si no vais en Agosto, hay mucha gente para todo y es un poco rollo. Los mejores meses para mi son junio y septiembre.

Of course it's better if you don't go in August. For me the best months to visit Ibiza are June and September. 

Mi descubrimiento para el verano - For my flat belly

Que duro es volver a las rutinas después de dos semanas de vacaciones. De vacaciones de verdad, que gusto!!! Gracias a los que lo han hecho posible, hemos vuelto super descansados!!

It is very hard to come back to the routine after 2 weeks on holidays. Real holidays, the ones that you come back very relaxed.. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Siempre que vuelvo de España tengo una mezcla de morriña y de ganas de volver a nuestra "nube londinense". La verdad es que qué bien se vive en España, el clima es algo mas que impresionante, bañarse en la playa en Abril no tiene precio, la comida que rica está y por supuesto la familia y los amigos, como se os echa de menos!!!
Pero la verdad es que en Londres también estamos muy bien, además nos ha recibido con buen tiempo, que mas se puede pedir...

When we come back from Spain, I have a mixture of homesickness and enthusiasm to come back to our "little cloud" in London. But reality is how well you live in Spain, the weather it is amazing (we took a swim in the beach in April), the food is very yummy and of course we miss all the family and friends!! but we are very happy in London, and we have nice weather, so it is perfect.

Después de esta charleta, os traigo un gran descubrimiento para aquellas madres o no madres que la tripita no les abandona y la playa está a la vuelta de la esquina.

Playground with water

Tenemos verano en Londres, vaya calor¡¡¡ Los dos años que llevamos aquí, no habíamos vivido un verano de verdad, pero por fin ha llegado. Claro que la ciudad no está muy preparada para estos calores, pero no nos vamos a quejar.

Finally we have a real summer in London¡¡ In the last two years, we didn't have a real summer, but now it is here. But the city it is not prepared for this hot, but I'm not going to complain.

Memorial Diana Fountain (no confundir con el playground que ya os enseñé), esta es una fuente que hace un circulo con agua corriendo todo el tiempo y que se puede poner la manta o la toalla en la zona vallada. Está al lado del Lago Serpentine, donde empieza Hyde Park viniendo desde Kensington Gardens.
Por supuesto, los fines de semana de calor, es díficil hacerse un hueco, pero es muy divertido para los niños.

Don´t confuse with Diana´s playground I showed you in another post. This is a fountain in a circle with water flowing where you can walk around, and it is in a close area where you can put the towel. It is close to the Serpentine lake, at the beginning of Hyde Park coming from Kensington Gardens. Of course, this warm weekends you could find complicate to find space to put your blanket, but it is very funny for the kids.

Serpentine Lido, para entrar en este hay que pagar, 4 pounds adultos y 3 pounds mayores de 3 años. Si vas mas tarde de las 4 pm, son 3 pounds adulto y 1 pound por niño. La entrada es una puerta pegada a la cafetería Lido en Serpentine Lake, muy cerca del Diana´s memorial. En su interior hay una piscina para niños y un playground, lo mejor es que no está muy lleno. Si vas por la tarde, la verdad es que el agua no está muy limpia, pero ellos se lo pasan en grande. También tienes acceso al lago, hay una orilla con arena y te puedes bañar en el lago.

Los fines de semana puedes ver la cola de espera.

To go inside you need to pay 4 pounds per adult and 3 for children above 3 years old. After 4 pm, its only 3 pounds per adult and 1 pound per children.The door is closed the the Lido Bar. Inside you can find a swimming pool for children and also a playground, and it is not very full. Kensington Park, es un parque enorme que está en W10 in Marks Road. Tiene un playground con agua, es super divertido, tiene un montón de chorros de distintas formas que está cayendo agua todo el rato. Está todo muy limpio, no hay agua acumulada en ningún sitio. Es en un recinto cerrado y almohadillado, así que no hay ningún peligro. Hay que llevarles en bañador, acaban empapados como cuando van a la piscina. Al lado hay un playground de arena que también está muy bien y un Kiosco con bebidas y helados.
Horario: 11am-5pm

It is a huge park in W10, in Marks Road. They have a big playground with water. It is very funny¡¡ The water playground are a lot of water jets with different shapes. Everything it is very clean and it is enclosure and with the floor soft. The children wear with bath suit, they finish completely wet, as if they had been in the swimming pool. Close to the water playground is another regular playground with sand and also a bar with drinks and ice creams.

Además están los lagos en Hampsted Heath, están en el parque que es precioso y super grande. Hay varias zonas para bañarse, solo para mujeres solo para hombres y mixtas

In addition you have the Hampsted Health pods. The park is huge and very very nice. You can find different areas, with ponds just for woman, another just for men and of course another for everybody.
