Digital Moodboard - Panel inspiración Molondo

Seguimos con mi curso, por lo tanto sigo dandole vueltas a Molondo. Como ejercicio para esta semana teníamos que hacer un panel de inspiración, ahora digital con las cosas que nos inspiran. Que ejercicio mas difícil¡¡ hay tantas cosas bien hechas y bonitas por ahí que no se que quedarme.
Después de pensarlo mucho, me he quedado con esto:

I keep doing my blog course, so I still thinking about Molondo. The exercise for this week is to do a digital moodboard, with the things I have found in internet and had inspired myself to write the blog. What a difficult exercise.... I've found a lot of things so well done and so beautiful, it is so difficult to choose. After thinking a lot, I have chosen the next pictures:

• Lo primero mi cabecera, que a falta de logo, por lo menos me gusta la tipo y el menú de etiquetas. First of all my header, I know I'm missing the logo, but I am sure it will come very soon. But I like the typo and the navigation bar.

• Matilda, la he añadido porque esos ojos azules con el fondo azul de la piscina, creo que va muy acorde con la inspiración. Matilda is here because she has the most amazing blue eyes I've never seen before, and in this picture in the swimming pool, I think it goes aligned with the inspiration.

Cooking with Kids: Delicious Rhubarb Muffins

Me encanta cocinar con las niñas. Bueno hasta ahora la que mas me ayudaba era Matilda, Oli no llegaba a la encimera, siempre la tenía suplicando en mis piernas...

I love cooking with the girls. Until now I cooked only with Matilda, Oli couldn't reach the counter so she was always between my legs.

Para pasar estas tarde de lluvia que mejor que hacer unas magdalenas de Rubarba (así dicho suena fatal). Por si no lo conocéis es un vegetal alargado y rosa que en realidad sabe a manzana. Aquí se lleva mucho y hacen de todo, tartas, yogures, salsas...lo usan mucho y está muy rico.

To keep the girls entertained in a rainy afternoon, we did a Rhubarb muffins. It is a pink vegetable that tastes like apple. In London you can find it in cakes, yogurts and a lot of things. In Spain is not very common. 

Esta receta me la dio mi amiga Bárbara, que de cosas compartimos...es muy fácil y muy rica y cómo podéis ver es una excusa estupenda para meterse en la cocina con las niñas.

This recipe is very easy, it was showed to me by my friend Barbara, one of the many things we shared. It is very easy and delicious and it is a nice excuse to cook with the kids.

Rhubarb Muffins

Ingredients:

250 gr Rubarba /250 gr Rhubarb

200 gr harina /200 gr flour

2 cucharitas de levadura / 2 teaspoon baking powder

50 gr avellanas / 50 gr hazelnuts

3 huevos / 3 eggs

100 gr mantequilla /100 gr butter

Esencia vainilla / Vainilla essence

150 gr yougurt natural /150 gr Natural yogurt

Hoy voy a escribir el post mas "Molondo"y mas yo que nunca.
Today I am going to speak about "Molondo" and me, more than ever.

Como sabes estoy haciendo el curso H¡C, super recomendable para todo el que quiera aprender un poquito de estos mundos blogger.
Como ejercicio para esta semana nos han propuesto hacer un "moodboard" o panel de inspiración. Que difícil¡¡¡ Primero porque mi vena creativa no está muy desarrollada o me cuesta mucho encontrarla, pero además porque en realidad de lo que se trataba era de pensar un poquito en el por qué del blog, que sentido tiene para mi y que sentido quiero que tenga para ti que lo lees.

As you know, I am doing the H¡C course, it is a spanish blog course to improve your knowledge about being a blogger. The homework for this week is to do a "Moodboard". How complicated for me¡¡¡ First of all because my creativity is not very well developed or it is complicated to me to find it.  And also because in reality the idea is to think about why you are here, what is the reason of the blog, what I want to show you..

Empecé el blog, empujada por mi hermana,  con el fin de dar a conocer todos los planes que hacíamos las niñas y yo en nuestra aventura Londinense. Me encanta descubrir sitios nuevos, ya sean tiendas, cafeterias, museos o cualquier otro sitio bonito y donde podamos pasarlo bien tanto los niños como los adultos, a veces un equilibrio complicado. Puesto que aquí el invierno es largo y nos pasamos muchas horas en casa, no queda mas remedio que reinventarse y hacer manualidades, DIY o lo que se nos ocurra para pasar la tarde entretenidos. Y como no, el blog también me sirve para contar también mis sentimientos o experiencias de estar con las niñas sin trabajar y dedicada básicamente a ellas, algo duro y gratificante a partes iguales.

I began the blog, pushed by my sister, with the idea to show all the plans we found to do with the girls living in London. I love to discover new coffees, shops, theaters, museums or any other place where you can go with the kids and enjoy all together. Because here the winter is very long, we developed our creativity to do craft and DIY to spend the afternoons at home. And also, I used the blog to explain my feelings as full mother, sometimes tough but always gratifying.

Poco a poco estoy intentando mejorar la imagen de Molondo, incluso toqueteando el Html de la página, gracias bloggers con tutoriales no se que haría sin vosotros, metiéndome en las redes sociales para llegar a mas gente y que me tengáis mas cerca y por supuesto intentando mejorar mis post, que al final de lo que se trata es de contar cosas interesantes en Londres.

Restaurant Family Friendly Notting Hill

Esta semana he empezado mi curso Hello Creative y me está haciendo plantearme muchas cosas para mejorar mi blog, así que ando un poco atascada en las publicaciones...todo sea para mejorar.

This week I began my course Hello Creative and to help me to improve my blog, so I am a little bit blocked with my post....anything to improve.

Hoy os traigo un restaurante muy family friendly, que es muy conocido entre los padres del barrio puesto que se come bastante bien, te cuidan a los niños para que puedas comer tranquilo y también porque tiene otra sala que se puede alquilar para fiestas infantiles. Así que muy completo el
restaurante.

Today I want to show you a "family friendly" restaurant in London. It is very famous in the Notting Hill families because is a nice restaurant with good food where they look after the kids after their lunch and also because they have a party space for kid´s birthdays.

Lo primero, la comida. Es muy variada, yo diré que me comí una de las mejores hamburguesas de la ciudad (salvando el Byron). Pero si quieres una comida mas sofisticada también tienen "Oyster Bar" así que puedes tomarte tus ostras con champagne y quedarte tan a gusto.

First of all, the food is delicious. I ate the best burger in the city (Same level than Byron but more sophisticated). You can choose other food and eat Oysters with champagne...

El sitio es bastante grande y bonito. Eso si no hay mucha separación entre mesas, pero tienen sitio de sobra para aparcar los carritos.

The place is big and very nice. For me there is not a lot of space between tables, (you know when you go with 5 kids you always need more space), but you have space enough to park the prams.

Por supuesto tienen menú infantil, un poco escaso. Pedir uno por niños porque se lo comerán, nosotros pedimos para compartir y al final fuimos añadiendo platos porque no eran muy grandes y debía estar muy rico. Salchichas con pure de patata, siempre triunfa con los niños.

They have kid´s menu. It is not very large, so you need to order one per kid. We tried to share, the girls normally share plates, but at the end we had to order more plates because they  were hungry and probably because it was delicious. Sausages with smash potato, it is always a success.

Después de que coman los niños, se suben al "Creche" que es un salón muy grande con 2 cuidadoras y un montón de juguetes donde se lo pasan genial jugando un rato. Así los padres podemos comer tranquilamente, de vez en cuando también se agradece. Sobretodo cuando vas con un grupo de gente.

After the kids finished their lunch, they can go to the "Creche". It is a big room with 2 babysitters and a lot of toys to play with. They enjoy it a lot and the parents could have a calm lunch with friends.

También tiene varios comedores privados para cenas de grupos. Tienen todas una pinta estupenda.
They have also private dinning room for groups and parties. 

De precio, diré que no es muy barato aunque tampoco creo que sea prohibitivo para el nivel de esta ciudad. (35 pounds por persona)
Price, it's not very cheap but tolerable for this city. (35 pounds per person)

Si estás por Notting Hill con niños y quieres una comida tranquila, creo que es una buena opción.

If you are in Notting Hill neighborhood and you want to eat in a nice restaurant where kids are entertained, this restaurant is a good option.

Hoy quiero enseñaros una forma de moverse en Londres para los niños.
Cuando llegamos a Londres hubo muchas cosas que me llamaron la atención. Entre otras, que los niños iban hasta muy mayores en sillas de paseo, que vagos, pensé yo. Ahora, aunque no lo hago, lo entiendo, las distancias son bastante largas y mucha gente no tiene coche o no lo usan para moverse por la ciudad. Claro que hay alternativas, aquí lo que se lleva es que cuando se bajan del carro se suban en la "scooter" o patinete. La verdad es que ves a enanos de 2 años que lo manejan que ni yo sería capaz. Esto si que lo hemos copiado, mis niñas tienen sus scooters y la verdad es que son comodísimas para poder ir un poco mas deprisa a los sitios.

Today I want to show you a way to move in London with the kids.
When we arrived to London a lot of things caught my attention, but one of these things was that kids used the pram until very old (maybe 3 years old), lazy kids I thought... But know I can understand better, distances are very long and the people normally don't use the car in the city. Of course you can find other ways to move, and here the most famous is the scooter. When kids stop using the pram they begin with the scooter. You can see kids with 2 years driving the scooter better that I can expect of myself. Of course we have adapted to this tradition and my girls have their scooter, and they are really useful to move in the city faster. 

Si, ya se que en Madrid también se usan, pero creo que mas como divertimento que como medio de transporte.
Yes I know that for example in Madrid you can also find it, but more as an entertainment than a "vehicle".

Regalos Especiales / Special Presents - Digital Album

Pasados los Reyes y Papa Noel, os traigo un tipo de regalo personalizado que siempre me han encantado y que creo que son un buen regalo para cualquier momento, no sólo para la locura navideña.

Digital Album, I think is a nice present to keep memories of a travel, first year of the baby or just a special stage in your life. I am an expert preparing albums in different formats and for different reasons.

El primero que hice fue para mi sobrina por su primer año, luego he repetido con la siguiente, claro. Como hay un montón de opciones, yo os cuento los que he hecho.

The first I did was to my nephew for her first year. After that of course I have repeated with the next one and with my daughters.

El primero lo hice con Snappybook, para mi lo mejor es que las páginas son como de libro duro, son perfectas para los niños porque lo pueden toquetear y no las rompen. Tienen la opción de poner foto doble página que queda muy bonito. Los precios van desde 44 euros por 20 páginas a 150€ el formato grande con 100 páginas. Muy recomendable.

The first one I did it with Sanppybook. For me the best of this webpage is that the pages of the Album are thick pages (like the kids book) that they can touch and its impossible to broken. They have also the option to put one picture in both pages, sometimes very useful. The prices are form 44 € for 20 pages until 150€ the big format with 100 pages. Very advisable.

Los siguientes los he hecho con el programa de Apple. Para mi lo más cómodo, tiene varios modelos con diferentes plantillas y es muy cómodo y fácil. No te tienes que descargar nada y te lo mandan a casa bastante rápido. Otra cosa que he hecho mucho, son los calendarios con fotos, me encantan¡¡El primero me lo regalo mi amiga Blanca con fotos de toda la pandilla y ahora los hago todos los años.  Para regalar a los abuelos o a amigos son geniales. El programa de Apple es perfecto, puedes poner una foto en el cumpleaños de cada persona y así no olvidarte nunca mas de los cumples.

The next ones I did was with the Apple program. For me is the easiest program. They have a few models with difference templates. You don't need to download any program and it's very quick. Of course, you need to have a Mac...
Another thing I like to do, are the calendars with pictures. I love it¡¡¡ The first one I received was from my friend Blanca and now I do one all the years. It is perfect as a present to the grandpas or friends (Thank you Blanca¡¡¡)





Los últimos los he hecho en Blurb. Tiene mas variedad de modelos, muy grandes y muy pequeños perfectos para regalar. También es muy fácil, te descargas su programa y a encuadrar las fotos. Quedan muy bonitos y con gran calidad. He hecho varios cuadrados pequeños para regalos especiales y se lo recomendé a mi padre para las fotos de su super viaje, en ello está, peleándose con las plantillas, pero le está quedando espectacular. De precios está muy bien, hay para todos los presupuestos.

The last ones I did it with Blurb. They have a lot of different models, very big and very small. They have the square format, perfect to have a detail with your friends. They are very nice and with good quality. I have recommended it to my father to do the album with his pictures of his trip in SouthAmerica. He is fighting with the templates, but I am sure it will be very nice. You can find for all the budgets.

De vuelta a Londres después de unas Navidades por Madrid, que la verdad nos han cundido mucho. Hemos tenido tiempo de salir, ver amigos, familia, comer y beber como si no hubiera un mañana, hacer planes con niños, viajar un poquito, de todo. Ahora ya de vuelta a nuestra "burbuja inglesa", con ganas de afrontar un nuevo año.

We came back to London after spending Christmas in Madrid. We have had time for a lot of things, to visit family and friends, to eat and drink with no end, to do plans with kids, travel a little bit...a lot of things. Now we are in our "London world" looking forward to deal with a new year. 

No se que nos deparará este nuevo año, seguro que cosas muy buenas y otras no tanto, pero vamos a intentar disfrutar todo lo que podamos con alegría. Yo desde luego vengo con las pilas cargadas para contaros un montón de cosas nuevas desde aquí de la mano de mis princesas.

I don't know what we can expect for this new year, I am sure that we will have  very good things and others not so good, but we will try to enjoy a lot. I come back full of energy to tell you a lot of things from here with the help of my little princesses.
