When you decide to travel or to live in another city, the first thing you do is to look for information. "Saint Google" helps us a lot but I think there are books and guides about the city which are compulsory. Today I want to share my favorite books about London:
- Necesario/ Mandatory
Lo he leido y releído varias veces y se lo recomendamos a todos nuestros visitantes, se lee súper fácil y te da una visión de la ciudad muy interesante. Como todo lo que he leído de Enric Gonzalez, esta genial escrito, cuenta un montón de curiosidades y aunque está escrito hace unos años, te da perfectamente el pulso de la ciudad. Por cierto, además de Historias de Londres, que creo que es el mejor, tiene también Historias de Roma, de Nueva York y esperamos las de Jerusalem..
(Para la gente que no lo conozca, Enric Gonzalez era el corresponsal para El Pais en dichas ciudades)
I have read it a few times and we always recommend it to all the visitors we have. It is a short book about living in London and it has an interesting point of view of the city. As everything I read from Enric Gonzalez, it is great . He tell us a lot of interesting curiosities although it was written few years ago it gives you a good description about how the city works. By the way, you can find also "histories of Rome", " of New York" and we are waiting for the Jerusalem History..

En el momento que sabes que vas a ir a algún país o ciudad, impresdindible tener su Lonely Planet, para mi las mejores guias. Eso que cuando vi la de Londres, la verdad me pareció un poco lío y hasta que no he conocido un poco la ciudad no le he pillado el truco, claro que ahora la hemos perdido en una de nuestras excursiones (Lo siento Blanca pero la re-compraremos).
When you know that you are going to visit any city or country, I think it is mandatory to have a Lonely Planet, for me the best city guide. The first time I read the London guide, I didn´t like it so much as I thought it was a mess. We lost it in one of our excursions, so we need to buy another one (sorry Blanca...)

Estos son dos libros muy diferentes pero igual de interesantes para mi. Por un lado las tiendas mas chulas de Londres, que hay muchas por todas zonas. Y por otro lado, planes con niños, museos, jardines y cafeterías "family friendly", siempre está bien buscar cosas nuevas que hacer con niños.
Those two books are very different but very interesting both. One of them is a selection of fashion shops in London, in all the neighburhoods. The other one, shows things to do with kids in London, museums, parks, coffees all "family friendly".
- Ultima incorporación /Last Incorporation
Este me lo han regalado hace poco, conocía el blog del escritor, que escribe sobre planes en Londres. El libro propone planes diferentes, cafeterías o pub chulos. Siempre hay sitios por descubrir en esta ciudad.
This one is new, I knew the author by internet but not the book. It is a special selection of places to go in London. It is very interesting to read and visit after. You have always new places to discover in this city.
