Holland Park

I think one of the best thing of this city are the parks and gardens, they are amazing¡¡

We live in a fabulous area W11, (I will write a post about it) we have lots of parks around us and we enjoy it as much as we can if the weather allows it...

Today I want to speak about Holland Park. It is located between High St. Kensington and Holland Park Av.

Getting in Holland is like entering in a real forest, with millenary trees, dedicated benches, squirrels and peacocks anywhere. Everything is very well maintained. In the park you can find different areas,  the ducks pond with Sir Holland, a big area to do picnic, the Japanese garden, two playgrounds and a coffee with terrace where to rest.

On the playgrounds is where we spend most of our time, you can choose between the traditional one with sand and swings for the smallest of the house or the big playground with more sophisticated swings that require more skills but where the children enjoy a lot. On weekends they are a little bit full, with a lot of spanish and french parents.

Really if you are in the area, Notting Hill or High St. Kensington, don´t miss it, if you have children because it is nice to have an area to run and if not, because it is very beautiful just to walk around.
