Legoland, Planazo con niños

Este fin de semana nos han invitado a Legoland. Una madre "chiflada" que por el 7 cumpleaños de su hijo decide llevarse a sus amigos al parque de atracciones, vaya regalazo!!! Como yo quería llevar a Oli decidí que iba con ellos para también ayudar un poco, así que el resumen es 7 niños y 3 adultos, una locura!!!
This weekend we have been in Legoland invited to a 7th birthday celebration. A mother who decided to take the best friends of her son and go to Legoland with them. I wanted to go with Oli also so I went with them and also to help them with the kids. The summary was 7 kids and 3 adults, crazy!!!

Legoland está en Windsor, a menos de 1 hora de Londres, hay autobuses que te llevan a todas horas. Nosotros llegamos a las 10,30 y ya había un montón de gente, pero la verdad es que el parking está muy bien organizado.
Legoland is located in Windsor, less than 1 hour by car from London. You have also busses during the day. We arrived at 10,30 and there was a lot of people, but the parking is very well organized. 

Los niños disfrutaron como enanos, todo el día corriendo de un lado a otro. Montamos en un montón de sitios, lo pasaron genial en el Playground gigante que tienen, hicimos un pic nic con sandwiches que llevamos, disfrutamos viendo las ciudades de Lego que tienen montadas. Olivia sólo quería entrar a jugar...
The kids enjoyed it a lot, all day running. We got in a lot of rides, they played in the playground, we did a pic nic, we enjoyed looking the lego cities. Olivia only wanted to get in and play with them.

Cogimos las entradas allí y lo más importante cogimos el Q Bot Rider . Hay varias opciones, el nuestro era el de 15 pounds, te dan un aparato donde tienes muchas de las atracciones y puedes ir reservando el que quieras ir, te sale a la hora que puedes ir a la atracción y así no hacer colas. De verdad que merece la pena. Eso si sólo puedes ir reservando de una en una.
We picked up there the tickets, and we got there the Q Bot Rider. You can choose different options, ours it was 15 pounds each, but it is worth it. You have a small machine where you can book the slots of the rides, so you don't need to do queues.

El parque es enorme, hay un montón de atracciones en las que montarse, alguna con restricciones para los más bajitos, algunas no pueden montar los que miden menos de 0,90 o 1 metro.
The park is huge, with a lot of rides. They have restrictions for the small ones, the limits are 0,90 or 1 metre tall. 

Nos quedamos hasta que cerraron, todos encantados aunque agotados.
We stood in the park until they closed, at 6 pm. Everybody happy but exhausted!!

Mis tips del parque:

* Llegad pronto, hay mucha gente
* Intentad conseguir descuentos antes de ir, la entrada no es barata
* Los menores de 3 años no pagan. Perfecto a partir de 5 años
* Los que miden menos de 1 metro no pueden subir en muchas atracciones
* Coged el Q Line
* Llevad ropa de cambio, hay atracciones con agua que te empapas.
* Hay un montón de sitios para comer, yo llevaría cosas para snack y bebidas.
* Si vais con pequeños, llevad un carro, el parque es enorme
* Mucha paciencia para salir del parque con el coche, hay unas colas...
* Pasadlo bien!!

My tips for the park:

* Arrive soon, there is a lot of people.
* Try to get a discount voucher, the ticket is not cheap.
* Under 3 don't pay. Perfect for kids older than 5 years old.
* Under 1 meter they cannot go in a lot of rides
* Get the Q line
* Take clothes to change or a raincoat, a lot of rides with water, and you finish completely wet
* You can find a lot of places to eat. You can bring food to have a snack and buy there a lot of things.
*  If you have small ones, bring a pram, the park is very big.
* A lot of patience to get out when they close, a huge queue because the cars...
* Enjoy a lot!!

Una semana más me uno al café de Mar y María de Bebestilo

Si estuviéramos tomando un café...te contaría que esta semana me he dedicado a las manualidades, pronto os lo enseñaré. ( Tenéis un anticipo en Instagram) Un poco de todo, de pintar, de coser, de tejer...
La verdad es que esta vena creativa se la debo a mi amiga sueca-griega, ahí estamos todas las mañanas creando algo rodeadas de 1 o 3 niños, que a veces nos dejan hacer y otras no entienden porque las mamas pintamos y ellas no.

If we were having a coffee... I would tell you that this week I did a lot of crafts, soon I will show them at the blog (You can follow me in Instagram). A little bit of everything, paint, sew, knit...
This creativity is due to my Greek/Swedish friend, we were all the morning doing it with 1-3 kids around asking why their mummies were painting and they couldn't.

Si estuviéramos tomando un café...te contaría, que me encanta comprar todo por internet. Amazon es mi mejor amigo, pero que a veces te la juegan un poco y me cabrea un montón. El otro día compré una litera con toda mi ilusión, busqué la web en Uk con mejor precio y mejor plazo de envío. Cuando consigo pagarla, nada fácil, me mandan un mail diciéndome que lo sienten mucho pero que van a tardar 6 semanas más de lo esperado en entregármela, y todavía me preguntan si estoy "happy"!!! casi les mato. Pero por no echarlo para atrás, con lo que me había costado hacer la transferencia, ahí sigo esperando...

If we were having a coffee... I would tell you that I love to buy everything by internet, Amazon is my best friend, but sometimes there are not very honest and I get furious. The other day I bought a bunk bed, I looked for it in all the webs to find the best price and the best delivery. When I paid it, not very easy by the way,  I don't know what has happened with my pay-pal account,  they sent me an email that they were very sorry but the delivery will have 6 weeks delay, and they asked me if was happy, of course NOT, I am not happy. I don't want to cancel because is already paid so I am still waiting for my bunk bed...

Si estuviéramos tomando un café...te contaría que esta semana he estado un poco vaga con mis post del blog, pero estoy segura que la semana que viene me pondré las pilas que empiezo mi curso Hello! Blogging Pro, así que todo por el bien de mi Molondo.

If we were having a coffee... I would tell you that this week I have been little bit lazy with Molondo, but next week I will begin the Hello! Blogging Pro, so I am sure it will be better.

Si estuviéramos tomando un café...te contaría que Londres está llena de calabazas y decoración de Halloween por todas partes, imposible no contagiarse, y queda 1 mes!!! Voy a tener que ir pensando las manualidades que vamos a hacer y los disfraces...El año pasado lo pasamos genial haciendo manualidades, halloween 2013

Mercado de Antiguedades en Londres: Sunbury Antiques Market

Otra cosa que me encanta de vivir en Londres es la cantidad de mercadillos que hay. Tanto los que están siempre como Portobello, Camden Town o Mercado de las Flores como los mercadillos que se organizan de vez en cuando ya sea para charities o simplemente temáticos.

One of the things that I love about living in London is all the markets you can visit. The classical ones, Portobello Market, Camden Town,  Flower Market  but also the fairs or markets you can find time to time.

He ido varias veces al mercado vintage que organizan vintage fashion por varios sitios de la ciudad, si os interesa mirar su web por si coincide cuando estés por aquí. Es básicamente ropa y abalorios, la verdad es que hay un poco de todo, pero seguro que buscando y rebuscando encuentras algo que te guste. Siempre es interesante verlo.

I have been in a vintage fashion market that is organized around the city; if you are interested at  vintage clothes you can check their web page: They have clothes and beads, all vintage, and all qualities. It is always interesting to visit it. 

Luego hay otros mercadillos mas profesionales que se organizan una vez al mes y son de antigüedades, si os interesa os recomiendo el artículo de "the guardian" de los mejores mercados de antigüedades, http://www.theguardian.com

Other markets are more professional, like the antiques ones that take place once per month and normally out of the city. If you are interested you can check the article of The Guardian about it, http://www.theguardian.com

Este mes me fuí al que organizan el segundo martes del mes sunbury antiques . Es en un hipódromo, en la parte de dentro están todas las cosas pequeñas, un montón de cosas de plata, vajillas de todo y en la parte de fuera hay un montón de stands con muebles más grandes. Está como a 1 hora en coche de Londres.

This month I went to sunbury antiques . It is only the first tuesday of the month and it is one hour by car from London. You can find a lot of small antiques, tableware, silver staff, a lot of things for the collectors and outside the market you can find a lot of furniture. 

Mis tips de la visita son

* abren a las 6,30 de la mañana, a partir de las 12 ya están cerrando algunos stands
* hay que pagar en efectivo
* no hay cafetería dentro, así que mejor si ya llevas tu café
* hay un parking enorme y es gratis
* si vas a comprar algún mueble, lleva algo para cargarlo

My visit tips are:

*They open at 6,30 in the morning, at 12 they are closing any stands.
* Only cash
* They don't have coffee shop, so better if you bring yours.
* There are a huge parking and it is free
* If you are going to buy big furniture bring something to carry it. 

It is a very interesting visit, I need to return, next month!!!

El café de los viernes / If we were having a coffee

Como os conté la semana pasada, me he unido a los cafés de los viernes de Mar y María de Bebestilo.

Si estuviéramos tomando un café...te contaría que esta semana he estado un día malita, solo 24 horas, algo me sentó mal, pero que malo es ponerse malo cuando tienes que llevar a las niñas al cole y vas camino de la guardería con ganas de vomitar.. menos mal que las madres tenemos super poderes y normalmente no nos ponemos malitas. Bueno y gracias a las amigas que nos ayudan y se llevan toda la tarde a los bichos a jugar a su casa.

Si estuviéramos tomando un café.... te contaría que hemos ido al médico de Oli de los ojos, tiene casi 3 años y ya lleva gafitas. Como yo nunca he llevado para mi es algo nuevo y me angustia un poco porque en el fondo no lo entiendo. Eso si, ella está encantada y no se las quita nunca, así que por ese lado bien.

Si estuviéramos tomando un café... te contaría que en Londres estamos teniendo un tiempo impresionante y que lo estamos disfrutando un montón. Que gusto estar al aire libre todas las tardes.

As I told you last week, I'm up to take a coffee with Mar and María from Bebestilo.

If we were having a coffee...I would tell you that this week I have been one day ill, just 24 hours, something that I ate didn't feel me well. How bad is to feel sick when you need to bring the girls from the school and in the way you want to throw up...Thanks,  mothers,  we have super powers and  we normally don't feel ill. And of course thanks to the friends who live close to you and who help you taking care of the girls in their home and playing all the afternoon. 

If we were having a coffee... I would tell you that we went to Oli's Ophthalmologist, she is almost 3 years old and she has specs. I never needed them, so for me is something new that I don't understand very well and really upsets me. She is very happy with her specs and never removes them, so it is ok for her. 

If we were having a coffee...I would tell you that in London we have an incredible weather, and we are enjoying a lot spending all the afternoons outside.

Un paseo por Asturias / A walk in Asturias

Hoy os traigo nuestro última parada del verano. Un sitio también fundamental en mi vida y que recomiendo visitar a todo el mundo, sobretodo con niños.
He pasado allí la mitad de mis veranos y la verdad es que solo tengo buenos recuerdos de lo bien que me lo pasaba con mis primos en un entorno maravilloso.
Today I want to show you my last stop during the summer. For me it's a special place where I have spent my summers and of course I recommend to visit to everybody, more with kids.
I have been there with my mum's family and I have very nice memories.

Lo de los niños lo digo por la variedad de planes que puedes hacer, ir a playas infinitas, ver un montón de animales por todas partes, pasear por prados preciosos y por supuesto comer, mmm que rico está todo.
La zona que más conozco es la Asturias Oriental, la parte que está mas pegada a Santander, hay sitios increíbles, (Llanes y Ribadesella son los mas conocidos) aquí os dejo una selección de nuestros favoritos:
I told you is a good place to go with kids because you can choose a lot of plans to do, you can go to incredible beaches, walk in green fields and of course the food is amazing.
We went to the East of Asturias, and here are my favorites places:

Playas: para mi las mejores son Niembro, Barro y Poo, por lo cómodas que son para los niños. San Antolín, porque a parte de ser preciosa, tiene uno de los mejores chiringuitos para comer, eso si tiene bastantes piedras. Las playas de Andrín y Ballota, son simplemente espectaculares.

Beaches: for me the best for the kids are Niembro, Barro and Poo. San Antolín is amazing and they have one of the best "chiringuitos"to have a lunch there. Andrín and Ballota beaches are stunning.

Restaurantes: Para comer fabada, aunque hay muchos sitios muy ricos nosotros siempre vamos a Sucón, está al lado de un rio y es muy agradable.
Casa Xico, para comer tortos, mmm que cosa mas rica.
Casa Raul en Naves para picar un poco de todo, incluido el famoso cachopo, todo muy rico.
La Parrera en Niembro, pescado y marisco espectacular.

Restaurants: To eat "fabada" (most typical stew in Asturias, made of beans with chorizo and other parts of the pork ) we always go to Sucon close to a river and very confortable place.
Casa Xico to eat "Tortos" (corn pancake) with eggs and chorizo. 
Casa Raul, in Naves is a nice place to share all the nice food, included "cachopo" (meat with ham and cheese).
La Parrera in Niembro, the best fish and shellfish.

Paseos; uno de los más bonitos es por el Golf de Llanes, era el antiguo aeródromo, está en lo alto y tiene unas vistas espectaculares.
Hay otro paseo muy bonito para ver los Bufones de Pria, son unas cuevas por las que entra el mar haciendo mucho ruido y que sale agua disparada, es espectacular.
En Llanes, el paseo de San Pedro por toda la parte alta es también precioso y perfecto para los niños que tienen sitio para correr.
Por supuesto podéis hacer una visita a la Ermita de la Virgen de Covadonga, un sitio impresionante por su historia y por lo bonito que es. O para los mas valientes dares un paseo por "Picos de Europa".

To go for a stroll: One of the most beautiful places to walk is the Llane's golf, it's the old airfield located on the top of the hill where you have amazing views. 
Another walk is to see the "bufones de Pria", are caves where the water of the sea strains and make a noise and flushes the water out
In Llanes, the "Paseo de San Pedro" on the top of the city perfect for a nice walk with views and with space for the kids to run.
Of course you can go to visit Covadonga's hermitage, it is a nice trip because its history and beauty. And for the braves you can hike in Picos de Europa.
